The TV Fitness host of ESPN International's "Mente y Cuerpo", which aired in Central and South America from June 2001 through 2003, is a certified group fitness instructor and trainer at various health clubs in Miami, Florida and is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist and member of the American Dietetic Association (ADA).

In 1998, when graduating with her second Bachelor of Science degree, this time from the Florida International University (Giselle also holds a B.S. degree from the University of Arizona in Business and Public Administration, Major: Management Information Systems and Operations Managements - [1984-89]), Giselle was awarded with the Outstanding Academic Achievement (an honor which is awarded to the student with the top GPA in the class) from the College of Health and graduated as Summa Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.930. Prior to enrolling at FIU, Giselle had attended the University of Miami (1989-92), where she entered the Post Baccalaureate program in Pre-Medical Studies right after her graduation from the University of Arizona in 1989.

As impressive as her educational/academic achievements are, Giselle's fitness and sport professional accolades are equal to the task. In September 1991, she made her competitive mark in the sport of sportaerobic by placing first in the Sundance Regional Aerobic Championship (sanctioned by AFAA) for the state of Florida. A few months later, February 1992, she was named Reebok National Sportaerobic Champion at the nationally televised event (ESPN) that was staged at Universal Studios in Burbank, California. In 1993 and 1994, she won the United States Sportaerobic World Qualifiers and successfully represented the US at two World Sportaerobic Championships held in New Orleans and Las Vegas, where she placed as a finalist two years in a row. In 1997, Giselle returned to the sportaerobic competitive arena but this time as one of two National Champ-Camp counselors to guide and train new competitors into the ranks of competitive sportaerobics.

Giselle's years of success in fitness and sportaerobic has also provided her opportunities in front of the camera. She has made a number of past appearances as fitness expert on popular Hispanic programs, including "La Buena Vida" (Telemundo Network), "Club Telemundo" (Telemundo Network), "A Buena Hora" (Telemundo Network), and "Sabado Gigante" (Univision Network). In 1995, she co-starred with her good friend Daisy Fuentes on the WARNER BROTHERS exercise videos (Daisy Fuentes Totally Fit-English and "Ponte en Forma"-Spanish). In 1996 she starred in a series of NAC Systems fitness videos produced and distributed by ORION Home Video.

Giselle at an early age competed nationally in the United States and native country of Cuba in the sport of Synchronized Swimming. In 1984 became a member of the University of Arizona NCAA Synchronized Swimming Team. In Cuba, at the age of 11 she was selected to be part of Cuba's elite in the athletic arena by becoming a member of the Cuban National Synchronized Swimming Team (10 girls) for age category of 11 and 12 (she attended the top boarding school of athletic preparation named "ESPA, which stands for 'Escuela Superior de Preparción Atletica'"). This was the first step to prepare and season her to compete for Cuba in International competitions such as the Olympics, "Centro-Americanos", "Pana-Americanos", etc. in the sport of Synchronized Swimming. Apart from her sport, fitness and academic endeavors, she has volunteered much of her time in aiding charities on behalf of cancer research, Parkinson, Naranja-Homestead migrant workers, the elderly, etc.

Her compassion for humanity, along with her enthusiasm to see others share in her devotion and passion for fitness, will leave an immediate and lasting mark on those she reaches through contact with her via fitness presentations/classes, TV fitness programs, and other professional endeavors/engagements.
